
Betclic inks French football sponsorship
Bordeaux-based operator seals agreement with Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 to become official sports betting partner


The French Professional Football League (LFP), the governing body for the top two divisions of French football, has signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with Betclic.
From the start of the 2020/21 season, Betclic will operate as the official sports betting platform for Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.
Under the remit of the deal, Betclic will deliver several activations around the relationship across online and social media to engage with French football fans.
Didier Quillot, LFP executive director general, said the addition of Betclic to the LFP sponsorship stable demonstrated its brand strength.
