BetBright launches “disruptive” social betting feed
Operator unveils BetFeed and takes aim at traditional sportsbooks for “a lack of even the most basic social functionality”

BetBright has juiced up its sportsbook by integrating an interactive digital platform called BetFeed, which lets punters track the most popular bets on-site in real time.
The BetFeed platform offers punters insight into which events and bets are popular with other site users by highlighting exactly how many customers have bet on a selection.
The new page, which refreshes every 30 seconds to include new markets, allows users to browse a scrollable feed of 100 bets and copy them into their own bet slips.

BetBright’s new BetFeed platform
According to BetBright MD, Sarne Lightman, BetFeed has been integrated to enhance user experience and encourage social interaction.
He said: “Whether it’s Facebook, Netflix or Spotify, the modern digital consumer is used to being able to like and follow trending social feeds and content, from their friends’ photos to their movie and music choices.
“Until now, traditional sportsbooks have lacked even the most basic social functionality leaving customers betting in a vacuum with nothing but the odds as evidence to what other users might be doing around them.
“Like the disrupters in other digital industries, BetBright understands how important the social experience is to the savvy digital customer and BetFeed is the next step on our journey to modernise and disrupt the digital sport betting industry,” he added.
Several bookmakers have a ‘most popular bets’ tab on-site, although none show the exact number of people betting on them.
Earlier this week Sky Bet also took aim at encouraging more social betting with its new Group Bets feature.
