
Betano nets Sporting Lisbon shirt sponsorship
Kaizen Gaming’s international sports betting brand seals initial two-year deal with reigning Primeira Liga champions


Betano has sealed a shirt sponsorship agreement with Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon for the 2021-22 football season.
The Kaizen Gaming sportsbook brand has been confirmed as the club’s new premium partner for the next two years, with the option to renew for two further campaigns.
Betano has operated in Portugal’s online sports betting market since 2019. It previously sponsored Sporting Lisbon’s Primeira Liga rivals SC Braga.
Its logo will be presented across Sporting Lisbon’s top retail and digital assets as part of the deal, as well as appearing on player jerseys.
“Just one month after Sporting’s return to the top as 2021 Liga Champions, the “Leões” have joined forces with Betano,” said Kaizen Gaming CEO George Daskalakis on LinkedIn.
“Sporting are turning 115 years old on Thursday and have won more than 50 domestic titles plus a European Cup Winners Cup.
“They have also introduced to the international football stage players like Luis Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo and most recently, Bruno Fernandes.
“It is a great honour for us to be the premium partner of such a historic club and we look forward to sharing success and undertaking joint social initiatives together,” he added.
Betano is the international sports betting brand of Kaizen Gaming, which uses its Stoiximan brand in its domestic Greek and Cypriot operating markets.
Betano has also ramped up marketing spend in the Portuguese speaking Brazilian market this year by securing similar shirt sponsorship deals with Fluminense and Atlético Mineiro.
