Bet365 wins Oddschecker rankings fight for McGregor v Mayweather
Operator takes almost 20% of Mayweather/McGregor clicks and continues to dominate across all sports
Bet365 topped Oddschecker’s bet slip rankings for the August fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor with 19.54% of the market share.
Sky Bet came in second with 11.19% of clicks on the big fight while Betfair ranked third with 8.73%, despite losing out on McGregor clicks to exchange rival Matchbook.
Across all sports, Stoke City sponsor bet365 continued to dominate the rankings, with a 16.67% share for the month, ahead of Sky Bet with 10.44% and Betfair with 9.67%.
The start of the new Premier League season saw Betfair climb two places to second in the market share rankings for UK football, overtaking both BetVictor and Sky Bet thanks to market leading overrrounds on the top four English leagues
Bet365 also reclaimed top spot from Sky Bet in the golf, who had offered particularly aggressive place terms throughout July.
