Bet365 unveils Edit Bet innovation
New cash out tool lets customers add and remove selections from unsettled accas and single bets
Bet365 has unveiled a new feature that allows punters to add, swap or remove selections in unsettled bets.
The Edit Bet tool, launched at the end of December, is available on both accumulators and singles where cash out is available.
For accumulators it can be used even if a number of selections within the bets have been settled.
For example, if the first two legs of a treble have come in, a punter could add a fourth leg in search of a bigger pay-out.
When editing a bet, the current cash out value will be used as the new stake and all prices will be updated to reflect live odds rather than the initial prices taken.
The feature is initially only available on mobile and tablet and can be activated via the Cash Out tab within My Bets.
It is also limited initially to selected events on a variety of sports including football, tennis, horseracing, cricket and basketball.
The tool is reminiscent of Ladbrokes’ “industry-first” Edit My Acca tool, although the bet365 version gives punters more control by allowing them to add and swap selections as well as remove them.
