Bet365 turns off Skrill and Neteller in the UK
Operator is understood to have internal concerns about bonus abusers using the payment methods

Bet365 has turned off Skrill and Neteller as payment methods in the UK amid issues with bonus abusers, EGR understands.
The payment methods were turned off over the weekend, although will remain active in certain markets.
Bet365 declined to comment on the exact reasons for the closure but EGR understands bonus abusers using the payment methods was a key driver.
E-wallets are often used by certain customer cohorts to help disguise their identity when attempting to open multiple accounts. They are used by professional bettors and syndicates for similar reasons.
EGR understands the turn-off is not permanent and could be reversed if Skrill makes certain changes.
Skrill and Neteller parent company Paysafe did not respond to an EGR request for comment.

The turn-off brings bet365 in line with the likes of Sky Bet and William Hill which do not accept Skrill or Neteller as payment methods in the UK.
