Bet365 readies biggest tech recruitment push to date
Global sports betting operator continues to invest in tech-delivery team with hiring spree for 80 new roles

Bet365 has kicked off its biggest recruitment drive to date and is advertising more than 80 new tech vacancies.
EGR understands 30 of these positions are to strengthen bet365’s Management Information Systems (MIS) team, based in Manchester, following the creation of the department in October 2020.
The initial hiring process proved popular when the operator received more than 400 applications for just one vacancy.
Available tech roles are spread across four functions including regulatory, management information, application software development and support.
Jobs encompass team leaders, business analysts, graduate developers, junior support engineers, SQL server developers, full stack C# developers (from junior to senior level), UI/UX specialists and a support Mailbox co-ordinator.
These technology-focused positions will be based in bet365’s head office in Stoke-on-Trent and Zenith building in Manchester. A small number of remote-based roles are also available.
In addition to the tech job openings, the operator has vacancies in compliance and analysis, as well as native-language customer support roles in Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, Sweden and Greece.
“This is our biggest recruitment push ever; we are expanding our head count to meet the substantial current and future needs of the business as we continue to grow and expand into more regulated markets,” bet365 MIS manager Dan Halliday told EGR.
“The department is building on years of success and looking for great talent to join a fantastic bunch of friendly, supportive and very highly skilled folks.”
Last week, EGR revealed that bet365 is expanding into the Russian sports betting market through a partnership with a locally licensed operator.
