Bet365 promotes from within for head of marketing operations division
Neil Fairweather will move into new role as chief marketing operations officer after just over three years in previous position

Bet365 has promoted Neil Fairweather from head of performance marketing to chief marketing operations officer to deliver increased commercial growth of the business and partnership division.
Fairweather has already taken up the role based in Gibraltar and will be in charge of working through short, medium and long-term objectives established by the senior marketing team.
He will also integrate global partnerships with operational departments with the aim to maximise their value and widen opportunities.
This promotion comes as Fairweather approaches six years with the operator.
Before joining bet365, Fairweather spent nearly 11 years at digital marketing firm Latitude. His roles at the company included senior account manager and senior account director, which saw him work in a number of industries, including the igaming sector.
Prior to this, Fairweather served as a senior consultant at Adele Carr Financial Recruitment and account manager at Direct Marketing Solutions.
This is the second internal C-level hire this month, as back at the start of the month, Chris Taylor was appointed as the online giant’s new chief digital officer after just over six years with the business.
Elsewhere, bet365 also revealed that it would be branching out into real-money fantasy sports by launching a new daily and season-long competition via its app.
