Bet365 promotes from within for head of partnerships appointment
Gareth Kennedy switches roles after three years as he enters his second decade at the firm

Bet365 has promoted Gareth Kennedy to become the operator’s new head of partnerships, marking Kennedy’s fifth role at the Stoke-on-Trent firm.
Kennedy is embarking on his second decade at bet365, having originally joined the firm in March 2012 as a customer account advisor.
He moved on to the role of customer account team leader after a year before being made marketing manager at the company in January 2015. Kennedy held the role for just shy of five years before moving onto the role of new business development manager.
He served as new business development manager from August 2019 in Stoke-on-Trent and will now swap the UK for Gibraltar in his new role.
Before joining bet365, Kennedy spent a year as a production coordinator for the BBC, mainly working on the singing talent show The Voice. Prior to this, he was the production coordinator on The X Factor for ITV.
Kennedy becomes the latest internal promotion at the online giant following moves for Chris Taylor and Neil Fairweather in August.
Taylor swapped Malta for Gibraltar to become the operator’s new chief digital officer while Fairweather took up the role of head of marketing operations following three years as the firm’s head of performance marketing.
Elsewhere, bet365 also revealed that it would be branching out into real-money fantasy sports by launching a new daily and season-long competition via its app.
