Bet365 promotes from within for global paid social lead
Jason Jones steps up to senior marketing role as he swaps Malta for Gibraltar at family-owned firm

Bet365 has promoted digital marketing executive Jason Jones to become the firm’s global paid social lead.
Jones steps up to the role after almost three years with the online giant, after initially joining bet365 as a customer account advisor in July 2019 in Malta.
In May 2021, Jones made a shift to the group’s marketing team as a digital marketing executive.
In his new role, Jones will swap Malta for Gibraltar and be responsible for driving bet365’s customer acquisition strategy via paid social channels.
Jones first joined in the gaming industry after linking up with Gaming Innovation Group in February 2017, where he worked across the group’s customer support division before moving to reactivation specialist Rubiko in February 2018.
He also had a brief spell with Kwiff as a sportsbook coordinator prior to joining bet365.
Speaking on his new role, Jones said: “After six years living in one of Europe’s smallest countries, it’s time for me to leave Malta in search of bigger things.
“So, I’ve relocated to Gibraltar where I’ll be starting a new role as paid social lead at bet365,” he added.
Jones’ appointment continues bet365’s strategy of promoting talent from within the business.
In February, the group promoted former ITV producer James Clark to become the giant’s new head of editorial content following 13 months as the operator’s news manager.
