Bet365 names new head of editorial content
Former ITV producer James Clark steps up to lead content output after 13 months as news manager at firm

Bet365 has promoted former ITV producer James Clark to become the operator giant’s new head of editorial content.
Clark will now take the lead on the Stoke-on-Trent-based firm’s content output having originally joined in January 2022 as sports and betting news manager.
Clark moved to the family-owned operator after more than nine years working at ITV across a series of roles, including as a sports presenter and producer.
He was originally brought in to oversee the group’s new “ultra-modern” sports and betting news site as bet365 looked to ramp up its editorial and on-site content.
Clark was responsible for building out the division, including working on a hiring spree for sub-editors, a news manager, studio operators, writers and translators for various non-English language sites.
As well as traditional previews, reviews and tipsters, bet365 developed additional “exclusive video content and bespoke imagery” to support the sites.
Bet365 boasts news sites across 16 countries, serving a global audience of more than 80 million customers.
In becoming head of editorial content, Clark will relocate from Stoke-on-Trent to Gibraltar.
