Bet365 moves for new global head of brand
Chloe Shrubb returns to operator giant following spell with Entain in latest hire for Stoke-on-Trent firm

Bet365 has appointed former Ladbrokes Coral and bwin head Chloe Shrubb as its new global head of brand marketing.
Shrubb returns to the Stoke-on-Trent-based operator after a five-year spell with Entain-owned brands in London and Gibraltar.
Shrubb served as bet365’s head of social media from April 2012 until May 2017 after joining the industry from local government.
She then swapped the Midlands for London where she joined bwin as its head of social media, content and brand.
In June 2020, Shrubb shifted to bwin’s stablemate Ladbrokes Coral to become head of brand marketing.
Speaking on her decision to return to bet365, Shrubb thanked her Entain colleagues and was positive in her outlook for the future.
She said: “After six brilliant years I am leaving Entain to take on a new challenge at bet365 as global head of brand. To all my bwin, Party and Ladbrokes and Coral friends, past and present, thank you for all we achieved, it’s been a great journey.
“To my old and new friends at bet365, what an exciting opportunity we’ve got. It’s so nice to re-join the team,” she added.
Bet365 has undergone a hiring and promotion spree in recent months, coupled with the launch of the operator’s new “ultra-modern” sports and betting news site led by former ITV producer James Clark.
Elsewhere, the online giant appointed Chris Taylor as its new chief digital officer, Neil Fairweather as its chief marketing operations officer and Martin Redman as its sole head of international development.
