Bet365 launches locally regulated site in Serbia
New platform comes after operator secured licence from country’s Gaming Authority, taking total number of online licensed firms to 27

Bet365 has formally launched operations in Serbia, with the online giant bringing locally regulated sports betting and online casino to the Balkan market.
Live at bet365.rs, the local Serbia site includes the Stoke-on-Trent-headquartered operator’s extensive list of sports betting markets and online casino games for consumers.
The operator’s site officially launched on 6 March, with the Serbia Gaming Authority website noting the company is locally licensed.
Hillside New Media DOO BeoGrad is listed among 27 other online licence holders in the market, including Superbet, Betsson’s Rizk brand and Flutter-owned MaxBet.
The privately owned business has also launched a new sign-up offer for Serbian residents, with customers receiving 100% of their first deposit back as a bonus up to RSD5,000 (£35.87).
Additionally, if a new customer’s deposit is above RSD2,500, the operator is also offering 50 free spins across online slots.
The bet365 Serbia FAQ section of the new site also informs that existing users will need to create a new account when signing up to the new platform.
When logging in with an existing account, users will be directed to upload relevant information to populate the new account, including personal data and agreeing to new terms of use.
The website reads: “You need to create a new account when you sign up. This allows you to continue to access our extensive range of sports betting and gaming products.
“All funds from your original account will be automatically paid out to your active payment method, wherever possible.
“If funds cannot be disbursed automatically, we will contact you via email to request bank transfer details. Alternatively, contact us and we can help you further. All unconfirmed bets stand.”
The new site also includes extensive responsible gambling signposting for users, including information on setting deposit limits and available other tools.
A bet365 spokesperson said: “We are delighted to launch a dedicated bet365 website in Serbia, a country renowned for its sporting heroes and passionate fans.
“As well as our unrivalled sports betting experience, our customers in Serbia can now enjoy a comprehensive range of offerings, including slots games, live games, esports and virtual betting.”
