Bally’s to phase out and rename Fox Sports regional networks
Two channels will be phased out as the operator rebrands 19 networks to cover greater regions

Bally’s Corporation has streamlined and renamed 19 of Sinclair Broadcasting Group’s regional sports networks (RSNs) as part of its media partnership with the broadcaster.
The switchover is expected to be finalized in Q2 and will see the Fox Sports West and Prime Ticket channel renamed Bally Sports SoCal, while Sports Time Ohio will become Bally Sports Great Lakes.
Fox Sports Carolinas and Fox Sports Tennessee will be phased out to streamline program offerings, with the NHL’s Nashville Predators live games and other content specific to the two RSNs to be aired on Bally Sports South and Bally Sports Southeast

The full list of Bally Sports RSNs is: Bally Sports Arizona, Bally Sports Detroit, Bally Sports Florida, Bally Sports Great Lakes, Bally Sports Kansas City, Bally Sports Indiana, Bally Sports Midwest, Bally Sports New Orleans, Bally Sports North, Bally Sports Ohio, Bally Sports Oklahoma, Bally Sports San Diego, Bally Sports SoCal, Bally Sports South, Bally Sports Southeast, Bally Sports Southwest, Bally Sports Sun, Bally Sports West, and Bally Sports Wisconsin.
Bally’s secured its strategic partnership with Sinclair in November 2020, in conjunction with its acquisition of sports betting platform provider Bet.Works.
Macquarie Group analyst Jordan Bender recently told EGR North America the Sinclair contract has transformed the operator from a 1% or 2% market share online player into a 5% to 10% market share player.
“It really transformed them into a company that could compete with some of the larger companies like a Barstool/Penn National Gaming or Caesars/ William Hill,” Bender said.
