Atemi moves to guarantee jobs and wages during coronavirus uncertainty
Monaco-headquartered affiliate firm provides reassurances including home office costs of up to £250 and interest free loans

Atemi has pledged to protect jobs and pay for all of its employees as coronavirus causes uncertainty throughout the betting and gaming sector.
The affiliate firm – formerly known as Rise Project – will also give £1,000 per month to any employee whose spouse or partner has been laid off as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
Atemi is also contributing home office costs of up to £250 per employee and offering interest free loans where necessary.
Atemi founder Richard Skelhorn said: “We are a successful and resilient company. I am very proud of our team who have shown an incredible ability to adapt to this challenging environment.
“We have moved to home-working without skipping a beat and productivity is improving all the time, but other companies may not be so resilient, which is why we introduced this initiative.
“It is important we help everyone remain confident and focused on maintaining their health. Being able to sleep at night is a big part of that.”
Atemi launched online betting and odds comparison website BetCompare this month before the professional sports leagues, including the Premier League, were cancelled to protect the public.
Skelhorn added: “It’s certainly a headwind we didn’t expect, but we’ll take this time to improve the product before hopefully re-launching in the summer.”
