AS Monaco unveil Casino Secret as official online gaming partner in Japan
Online platform and Ligue 1 side join forces to launch exclusive digital campaign in the region

Ligue 1 side AS Monaco has announced a partnership with Japanese online casino operator Casino Secret to jointly launch an exclusive digital campaign targeting the Japanese market.
Having recently opened its Twitter account in Japan following the signing of former Liverpool and Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Takumi Minamino, the French professional football club has increased its efforts to get closer to fans in the region by partnering with the igaming site in a two-season deal.
In its new role as AS Monaco’s official online gaming partner in Japan, Casino Secret will leverage the public profile of the Japanese international to further engage with online casino players in the country and assist the club in promoting its brand to its recently acquired community of Japanese supporters.
To celebrate the partnership, AS Monaco and Casino Secret will work together across a number of promotions and marketing campaigns in the region, with these affording both brands the opportunity to grow their respective Japanese audiences by releasing exclusive digital content and giveaways.
Jean-Emmanuel de Witt, chief executive officer at AS Monaco, praised the potential of the new collaboration, stating: “We are delighted to welcome Casino Secret as our regional partner.
“AS Monaco is an iconic Ligue 1 club with a strong international dimension and is enjoying growing interest in Japan, notably due to the arrival of Takumi Minamino.
“We look forward to starting this new partnership with Casino Secret to grow our presence in Japan and provide fans with unique, jointly created content,” de Witt added.
Nadir Ounissi, co-founder and CEO at Casino Secret, also welcomed the partnership, saying: “As one of the leading online gaming companies in Japan, it’s logical [for us] to take the next step to associate with AS Monaco, a world-renowned club with a strong digital audience of over 22 million supporters.
“With Takumi Minamino’s presence in the AS Monaco team, we have a great opportunity to grow our Japanese communities over the next two seasons and we’re look forward to this collaboration,” he added.
