Aristocrat to acquire Roxor Gaming by the end of Q1 2023
Deal to form major part of Aristocrat’s strategy to accelerate its online real-money gaming business in North America

Aristocrat has announced an agreement to acquire the UK-based igaming content supplier Roxor Gaming, with the deal expected to be completed by the end of Q1 2023.
This timeline is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
Roxor Gaming was founded in 2019 by former Gamesys chairman and co-founder Noel Hayden and was formerly the in-house studio and product team of the Gamesys Group.
Roxor specialises in RGS and platform technology and is currently live in New Jersey, with Aristocrat eyeing North American igaming gains as part of its future development roadmap.
This deal forms a major step in Aristocrat’s RMG strategy, which it set out back in May.
The slots manufacturing giant reaffirmed its commitment to moving into this market, and the firm is targeting going live in two US jurisdictions by the end of the year and a third by early 2023.
As Roxor is currently live in one US state, this could give Aristocrat the platform to reach its intended goal in the time scale given.
Noel Hayden, Roxor Gaming executive chairman, commented: “I am delighted to see this deal signed as I feel it brings together two great companies that complement each other perfectly.
“Roxor holds a very important place in my heart as the team and the games we have built have delivered so much to so many over the last 20 years. I couldn’t be more excited for Roxor Gaming and the road ahead.”
Mitchell Brown, Online RMG CEO for Aristocrat, added: “Roxor is a great fit for Aristocrat, and this acquisition is another step forward in Aristocrat’s strategy to scale in online RMG. We look forward to growing together with the talented Roxor team.”
The agreement is Aristocrat’s first successful M&A move since its £2.7bn deal to acquire Playtech fell through in February 2022.
