Aposta Ganha names new CMO ahead of regulated Brazilian market launch
Vitor Paulin comes into the fold to oversee marketing strategy and plan future market penetrations

Aposta Ganha has named Vitor Paulin as its new chief marketing officer (CMO) ahead of the regulation of the Brazilian online sports betting and igaming market.
Paulin, who will move into the gambling sector for the first time in his career, has an extensive marketing CV across multiple industries.
He joins the local hero from Experian’s Brazilian subsidiary, Serasa, where he served as head of revenue, products and digital business.
The new marketing chief also served as CMO at Brazilian business school Escola Conquer and as chief digital and growth officer at media agency UM.
The operator said Paulin’s experience in “transforming operations and implementing innovations that drive growth” would be a core benefit ahead of the regulated market going live next month.
Paulin will be responsible setting up and optimising Aposta Ganha’s marketing strategy in Brazil as well as analysing potential market penetrations throughout the rest of Latam.
Speaking on his new role, Paulin said: “I join Aposta Ganha at the perfect time as the business consolidates its dominant position in Latam and as the Brazilian regulated market progresses.
“The company has progressive plans in place to deliver on its expansive roadmap and I cannot wait to play my role in ensuring we hit our key targets.
“A significant part of this will be heightening the platform user experience and strengthening our internal communication channels.”
Elvis Lourenço, Aposta Ganha CEO, added: “We’re very happy to welcome Vitor to the Grupo Aposta Ganha team and his focus as CMO will be instrumental in our next growth stage. His marketing experience and deep operational understanding make him ideally suited to lead our marketing going forward.”
Aposta Ganha was one of 113 operators to submit a licence application with the Brazilian government ahead of the window’s close earlier this month.
The operator has been joined by other local brands such as KTO and Betnacional in applying for a licence, which will cost BRL30m and last for five years.
International giants including Entain, Flutter and bet365 have also signalled interest, while MGM Resorts International is planning to launch a BetMGM-brand JV with media conglomerate Grupo Globo.
