Anna Sainsbury reappointed as GeoComply CEO
Founder reassumes top job as incumbent CEO David Briggs transitions to director role

Anna Sainsbury has reassumed the role of GeoComply CEO after a three-year stint as the company’s chair.
Sainsbury will replace co-founder David Briggs as CEO, who has been in the role since 2018 and overseen revenue growth of more than 1,500%.
Briggs will transition to serve as director of the company and focus on strategic initiatives, including the expansion of GeoComply’s cybersecurity services into new markets.
Speaking on her return to the role, Sainsbury said: “David will continue to be an essential part of the company by dedicating himself to special projects, not least by providing core leadership on GeoComply’s future in fintech.
“His leadership has seen GeoComply through a transformative period as the business has expanded into exciting verticals and received institutional investment,” she added.
Briggs commented: “After four incredible years as CEO, I am looking forward to supporting Anna as she steps back into the role she was born to have. Anna is a natural-born leader and visionary and I have every confidence that her passion and dedication will take GeoComply to new heights.”
Sainsbury established GeoComply in 2011 as a regulatory services solution for the US gaming industry which has further expanded into a series of products that combat fraud and verify user locations, ensuring seamless compliance in gaming, content streaming and fintech.
Meanwhile, Sarafina Wolde Gabriel has joined GeoComply from Income Access to help support the company’s global growth, leading innovative geolocation security and anti-fraud solutions.
