
Americas Cardroom rebrands to ACR Poker amid new software rollout
Online poker giant announces brand refresh after 22 years as it moves to improve UX and UI across platform


Americas Cardroom has rebranded to ACR Poker and launched new software across its platform in a major shakeup at the operator.
According to the online poker giant, the new launch will feature a “modern look and feel, improved navigation and a variety of player-centric updates” as it looks to improve enhance its UX.
The new platform includes customisable and personalisation options as well as an influx of new stats.
These include widgets for player traffic, overlay alerts, tournament updates and final table streaming.
Promotions will be confined to one section of the site which will see the removal of pop-ups and banner ads.
ACR Poker has also put new measures in place to better protect new and recreational players.
The firm said “predatory behaviour” such as targeting would be limited, with players only able to start one game at a time in a cash game group.
Players will also not be able to sit on waiting lists to get on an individual table based on who is sitting at that table.
