Altenar announces Malta office expansion
Sportsbook provider expands its office to house growing team and increase its presence in the igaming hub
Altenar has announced it has expanded its Malta office in St Julians.
The firm hosted an expansion party on 11 November to show off its new premises, which will accommodate the firm’s increasing headcount, including significant IT department growth.
Altenar provides services to licensed gaming operators, including sportsbooks, managed trading services, mobile-first delivery, customised IT-based development and risk management.
The supplier is currently licensed in 13 global jurisdictions which include: the UK, Malta, Romania, Ontario, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Bulgaria, Portugal, the Netherlands, Colombia and the Baltics.
Agnieszka Chowdhury, HR manager at Altenar, commented: “With the new office, our capacity has increased at least double. We have added not only a new working place but also meeting rooms, break areas and communal spaces to create a great employee working environment.
“Creating an environment where employees can work, relax and collaborate will have a significant increase in employee morale and loyalty. This will definitely better address the needs of partners and will have a significant impact on a great and healthy company culture,” she added.
Elsewhere, the Malta-headquartered sportsbook provider recently appointed former chief operating officer of Together Gaming, Antonino Barra, as its new head of sales.
