Lottery giant Allwyn named as official partner for Formula 1
Lottery operator enters multi-year partnership with flagship racing brand “in support of its global growth plans”

Allwyn has been named as an official partner for Formula 1 as the prestigious motor racing brand enters its 75th year.
The lottery operator said the multi-year partnership supports Allwyn’s push towards increased global awareness, as it seeks to reap the rewards of Formula 1’s 750 million-strong global fanbase.
The firm noted that the partnership will “reinforce Allwyn’s position as an international brand driving community impact across the world, in support of its global growth plans”.
As part of the deal, Allwyn will develop initiatives which will “celebrate those making positive change, sharing these inspiring stories on a global level”.
Karel Komarek, Allwyn board chair and founder, said: “We have ambitious plans for Allwyn to continue on its successful path of international growth, and this is a significant milestone on that journey.
“This investment marks a major moment in Allwyn’s evolution, as we transform awareness of Allwyn on the global stage and underline the power of our lotteries to do good in the world.”
Stefano Domenicali, president and CEO of Formula 1, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Allwyn as a new official partner. Our collaboration reflects our shared commitment to innovation and celebrating community.
“This partnership also provides new opportunities for both our organisations to connect with broader audiences around the world. We look forward to working together to create unique experiences and drive positive change together.”
Back in January, Allwyn acquired a 51% stake in supplier Novibet in a deal which could rise to €327m by completion.
The operator also acquired a 70% stake in lottery supplier Instant Win Gaming in September 2024 for $242.7m.
Allwyn took over ownership of the UK National Lottery at the start of 2024, with CEO Robert Chvátal confirming the tech switchover associated with the deal will be completed this year.
