AFC Bournemouth secure front-of-shirt partnership with bj88
The South Asia-facing operator will sponsor the South Coast club for the next two seasons in a “record-breaking” deal

Premier League side AFC Bournemouth has announced bj88 as the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor for the next two seasons.
The Curaçao-licensed operator will sponsor the Cherries for both the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons, replacing the club’s former sponsor Philippines-founded Dafabet.
As well as operating in South Asia and South America, bj88 has footholds in markets across Europe as a white-label brand for TGP Europe.
Bj88 will also soon launch in the UK via TGP Europe and has a holding website currently listed under the domain name bj-88.co.uk.
The commercial investment marks the largest in the club’s history and will see bj88 contribute to community projects for adults in Bournemouth to “improve health, wellbeing and promote inclusion”.
As part of the partnership, bj88 will include dedicated messaging within its inventory to promote responsible and safer gambling.
The operator also serves as an official betting partner for Serie A side Bologna, as well as being the front-of-shirt sponsor for Twenty20 cricket teams Sunrisers Eastern Cape in South Africa and the Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan.
AFC Bournemouth commercial director, Rob Mitchell, commented: “The club is excited to be partnering with bj88 for what is a record-breaking deal. Their investment will have huge significance in helping us compete in the Premier League both on and off the pitch.”
A bj88 spokesperson added: “We are truly excited and honoured to agree this important and mutually beneficial partnership with such a historic and globally respected footballing brand as AFC Bournemouth.
“We have been very impressed throughout with the club’s determination and ambition, and we look forward to working with the club in supporting them with some exciting innovations moving ahead.”
AFC Bournemouth become the latest Premier League club to announce a front-of-shirt sponsorship with a gambling brand this summer ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Wolves inked a two-year deal with TGP Europe white-label brand DEBET, while Crystal Palace signed on with Risq Capital’s white-label NET88.
Newly promoted teams Leicester City and Southampton announced sponsorship deals with crypto-first brands BC.GAME and Rollbit respectively.
