
888 inks kit sponsorship and global betting deal with Cardiff City
888sport branding to feature on EFL Championship side’s training wear


888 has agreed a deal to become the first-ever training wear sponsor and global betting partner for EFL Championship side Cardiff City.
As part of the deal, 888sport branding will feature on first-team training kit for the remainder of the 2020-21 season as the Bluebirds look to secure promotion to the Premier League.
The agreement will also see 888 deliver specialised betting odds and competitions, along with several club-themed activation programmes debuting throughout the course of the campaign.
“We’re delighted to announce this new partnership with Cardiff City and look forward to getting behind the club’s push to bring Premier League football back to the Welsh capital,” said 888 SVP and head of B2C Guy Cohen.

Cardiff City CEO Ken Choo said: “Once again, I’m thrilled that we have entered into a partnership with a world-recognised brand like 888sport.
“We’re very happy to have them with us for the season ahead and I look forward to seeing the opportunities they will help create for City fans,” Choo added.
888 has a long history of sponsorships of EFL clubs, having previously penned deals with Birmingham City, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Preston North End.
