Checkd Dev reveals new Sky Sports Fantasy Football platform

Checkd Dev, a subsidiary of Manchester-based affiliate and content company Checkd Group, has fully rebuilt the Sky Sports Fantasy Football platform.

Checkd Dev has delivered new apps and a website for the 2021-22 campaign while integrating customer management elements from Sky Betting & Gaming.

The new platform was built from the ground up using Amazon Web Services (AWS) architecture and is “future-proofed” for upgrades when needed.

The new iOS and Android app contains upgraded features including real-time updated leaderboards. Previously, players could only check the rankings the following day.

Checkd Dev noted that along with the development of the Sky Sports Fantasy Football product, it also had several projects with “high-profile” media firms in the pipeline.

“Our brief was to completely rebuild the platform, offering stability and enhanced features while also laying the groundwork for the future.
