Slots Tracker: Starburst on cloud nine with year-to-date clean sweep
No change in the chasing pack heading into Q4 with Spribe, Playtech and Gameburger Studios looking to challenge top six

Starburst took top spot in the EGR Slots Tracker in September to close out a nine-month clean sweep in the rankings.
The NetEnt title remained ahead of the Pragmatic Play stable and long-term rival Book of Dead by Play’n GO to end Q3 as the slot to beat.
There was no change in the rankings in the top six as the challengers retained their respective positions from August.
Spribe’s Aviator jumped one spot into seventh place while Gameburger Studios’ 9 Pots of Gold also moved up one place to eighth.
Playtech’s Leprechaun’s Luck Cash Collect broke into the top 10 after moving up five places in September.
In terms of biggest movers, Fortune Factory Studios’ Gold Blitz leapt from 72nd in August to 16th place in September.
Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza moved up 22 spots to finish in 12th while Pragmatic Play’s Madame Destiny Megaways jumped 11 places to finish in 17th.
Fortune Factory Studios’ Blazing Bison Gold Blitz, previously in 12th place, was the highest-ranking title from August to fall out of the rankings.
Elsewhere, data analysed detailed the top-ranking new slots released since 1 July 2023.
Gameburger Studios’ Fishin’ Pots of Gold: Gold Blitz took top spot in September following its 22 August release.
Northern Lights Gaming’s Unusual Suspects (1 September release) and Eggs Bonanza by Snowborn Games (19 September release) took the silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the new games rankings.
Eggs Bonanza was also the title with the latest release date to secure a spot in the top 20.
In January 2023, EGR added a new data partner, eGaming Monitor (EGM), to track casino sites and help collate the monthly rankings.
EGM tracks game pages of more than 2,400 casino sites globally, with the European charts being based on the number of game tiles found for each game across operator sites in regulated markets.
EGM limits its tracking to just the main casino homepage of each site, with the tracker taking in slots, instants, scratch cards, slingo and crash games but excluding table games, live games, video poker, video bingo and others.
In September, EGM tracked 13,641 games from 392 studios in 29 European regulated markets including the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
