Slots Tracker: Pragmatic Play makes it a one-two in April as supplier strengthens hand

Pragmatic Play tightened its grip on the EGR Slots Tracker in April after securing the top two spots in the rankings.

Big Bass Bonanza retained its gold medal from March as stablemate Big Bass Splash moved from third place into second, displacing NetEnt’s Starburst in the process.

Pragmatic Play titles took spots four through to six, with each title retaining its position from March, in the shape of Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus and Sugar Rush, respectively.

Fortune Factory Studios Gold Blitz Extreme remained in seventh place while Gameburger Studios’ 9 Pots of Gold and Mining Pots of Gold swapped places, with the latter dipping to ninth.

Playtech’s Queen of the Pyramids Mega Cash Collect was a big mover last month, jumping seven places to sneak into the top 10.

Other big movers in April included Fortune Factory Studios’ Gold Blitz, which moved from 29th to 11^th, and Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus 1,000 which jumped eight places to finish the month in 14th place.

Pragmatic Play’s Bigger Bass Bonanza was the highest ranking title from March (13th) to fall out of the top 20 completely in April.

Elsewhere, eGaming Monitor (EGM) data revealed the top-ranking new slots released since 1 February 2024.

Northern Lights Gaming’s More Usual Suspects took the top spot in April following its 1 March release.

Chronicles of Olympus Hades II by Alchemy Gaming (22 February release) and Pompeii Megareels Megaways by Pragmatic Play (15 February release) took the silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the new games rankings.

Snowborn Games’ White Wolf Moon was the title with the latest release date (24 April) to secure a spot in the top 20.

EGM, EGR’s data partner, tracks casino sites to help collate the monthly slots rankings. It analyses game pages of more than 3,500 casino sites globally, with the European rankings being based on the number of game tiles found for each game across operator sites in regulated markets.

EGM limits its tracking to just the main casino homepage of each site, with the tracker taking in slots, instants, scratchcards, slingo and crash games but excluding table games, live games, video poker, video bingo and others.

For the April rankings, EGM tracked 12,929 games from 413 studios in 30 European regulated markets including the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
