Slots Tracker: Play’n GO makes it eight straight months at the top

Play’n GO’s Book of Dead remains the title to beat after sealing an eighth consecutive month atop iGaming Tracker’s slot rankings.

However, after months of stagnation, there has been a shuffle in the chasing pack with NetEnt’s Starburst and Big Time Gaming’s Bonanza falling out of the top three.

Starburst has dropped one place to third while Bonanza has tumbled from third to sixth place.

Red Tiger’s Gonzo’s Quest Megaways leapt four places into second place in August to become Book of Dead’s closest challenger.

There were six new titles in the August rankings, including returns for Playtech’s Buffalo Blitz and NetEnt’s Dead or Alive 2. Buffalo Blitz was the highest ranked new title coming in at 13th place.

NetEnt’s Cash Noire (11th) was the highest ranked title from July to fall out of the rankings completely.

The iGaming Tracker compiles the slots rankings by tracking casino sites across several European countries: the UK, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Norway and Denmark.

Games are ranked by their position throughout the month on 50 of the largest casino sites in Europe. Only the ‘main’ page of the casinos is taken into account and the top 10 most prominent positions on those pages.

Casino pages that are exclusive to a particular games supplier are excluded in the ranking. The ranking is calculated as the total number of hours the game was in the top 10 positions throughout the month.

Each casino page is tracked at least once every 24 hours. Table games such as roulette and blackjack are excluded from the rankings and so are live casino games.
