Slots Tracker: NetEnt unbeaten since rankings refresh as Pragmatic Play continues strong showing
Starburst tops the table ahead of long-term rival Book of Dead while Pragmatic Play dominates the top eight

NetEnt’s Starburst once again topped the EGR Slots Tracker as it held off the challenge of Book of Dead and the Pragmatic Play pack.
Starburst remains the title to beat as Play’n GO’s Book of Dead retained its second place while Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Bonanza also held onto its bronze medal position.
Gates of Olympus by Pragmatic Play jumped two places to finish in fourth place, swapping positions with stablemate Sweet Bonanza.
Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Hold & Spinner moved from 13th to eighth place as the studio continued to perform well against its competitors. The firm now boasts five titles in the top eight.
In terms of biggest movers, Thunderstruck II Joker by Microgaming leapt from 97th spot in April to 13th in May.
Skywind Group’s Big Buffalo Megaways moved up 54 spots to finish in 19th while Eyecon’s Fluffy Favourites jumped 26 spots to finish in 14th.
Playson’s Book of Gold: Multichance, previously in 15th place, was the highest-ranking title from April to fall out of the rankings.
Elsewhere, EGR’s tracker partner EGM also detailed the top-ranking new slots released since 1 March 2023.
Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Hold & Spinner retained its top spot from April following its 27 March release.
Triple Edge Gaming’s Fire and Roses Joker (18 March release) and Honey Gems by Playtech Origins (30 March release) took the silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the new games rankings.
Fortune Factory Studios’ Blazing Bison Gold Blitz was the title with the latest release date (16 May) to secure a spot in the top 20.
In January 2023, EGR added a new data partner, eGaming Monitor (EGM), to track casino sites and help collate the monthly rankings.
EGM tracks game pages of more than 2,400 casino sites globally, with the European charts being based on the number of game tiles found for each game across operator sites in regulated markets.
EGM limits its tracking to just the main casino homepage of each site, with the tracker taking in slots, instants, scratch cards, slingo and crash games but excluding table games, live games, video poker, video bingo and others.
In May, EGM tracked 11,763 games from 379 studios in 24 European regulated markets including the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
