Slots Tracker: NetEnt remains the brand to beat after topping April rankings
Starburst continues to reign supreme ahead of Pragmatic Play pack and Book of Dead as Spribe maintains its impressive trajectory

NetEnt’s Starburst has continued its strong performance in 2023 after topping the EGR Slots Tracker in April.
It was a month of statis in the rankings as Q2 kicked off with the top six all remaining in their positions from March, with Play’n GO’s Book of Dead and Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Bonanza taking the second and third place podium positions, respectively.
Outside the top six, Spribe’s Aviator jumped eight places to finish in seventh place, while Playson’s Luxor Gold Hold and Win moved up 10 spots to eighth.
Pragmatic Play continues to dominate the top 20 titles with six games in the rankings, including four in the top six.
In terms of biggest movers, Fire and Roses Joker by Triple Edge Gaming leapt from 75th place in March to 14th in April.
There was a new entry for Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Hold & Spinner as the game debuted in 13th place.
Fortune Factory Studios’ Gold Blitz, previously in ninth place, was the highest-ranking title from March to fall out of the rankings.
Elsewhere, EGM also detailed the top-ranking new slots released since 1 February 2023.
Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Hold & Spinner finished in top spot following its 27 March release.
Triple Edge Gaming’s Fire and Roses Joker (18 March release) and Tippy Tavern by Snowborn Games (14 March release) took the silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the new games rankings.
Gameburger Studios’ 9 Pots of Gold Megaways was the title with the latest release date (25 April) to secure a spot in the top 20.
In January 2023, EGR added a new data partner, eGaming Monitor (EGM), to track casino sites and help collate the monthly rankings.
EGM tracks game pages of more than 2,400 casino sites globally, with the European charts being based on the number of game tiles found for each game across operator sites in regulated markets.
EGM limits its tracking to just the main casino homepage of each site, with the tracker taking in slots, instants, scratch cards, slingo and crash games but excluding table games, live games, video poker, video bingo and others.
In April, EGM tracked 11,259 games from 359 studios in 23 European regulated markets including the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
