Kaizen Gaming becomes first sports betting company to partner with FIFA for flagship competition
Betano, Kaizen Gaming’s operator, has teamed up with FIFA to become a regional supporter for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The Kaizen Gaming brand is now a European regional sponsor for the tournament, becoming the first sports betting company to partner with FIFA for the World Cup.
Betano will leverage the new partnerships to engage and excite football fans around the world during the sport’s biggest and most-watched event.
Betano is currently active in 10 markets throughout Europe, Latam and North America and will be looking to tap into its global userbase with the new partnership.
Kaizen Gaming was recently named operator of the year at the EGR Operator Awards.
The Greek firm was also named sports betting operator of the year and also received three highly commended recognitions.
The operator was praised for its work on its affiliate programme, in-house product and as a casino operator at the black-tie event in London in October.
Touching on the deal, Kaizen Gaming CEO and co-founder George Daskalakis said the partnership would help bring Betano to millions of fans around the world.
Daskalakis said: “We are proud to be the first sports betting operator to partner with FIFA on the world’s biggest football event.
“This collaboration will bring us one step closer to millions of football fans across the globe; our goal is to offer them a responsible sports betting experience of the highest standards that will increase their engagement with FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022,” he added.
Luis Rodriguez, FIFA head of partnership development, commented: “FIFA and Betano have a shared ethos of using technology to enhance the fan experience, and we’re excited to see what they have planned to engage fans around the region.”
