September brings a thrilling atmosphere to US sports enthusiasts, marked by the NFL season kick off and the baseball season entering its decisive phase. Optimove’s Pulse tool’s 13-month dataset reveals that both September 2022 and 2023 emerge as the prime window for igaming operators to engage, reactivate, and attract new players. Notably, key performance indicators like conversion rate (57%), retention rate (74%), and reactivation rate (6.3%) reach their peak, surpassing even the excitement of March Madness. Moreover, the new retention rate (36%) is on an upward trajectory, surging in the months following September due to an influx of new players entering the fray.
