OGQ: Autumn assessment of the gambling business climate
In the latest data from Online Gambling Quarterly, 49% of industry experts consider the future business climate to be "good"

Current business climate – Autumn 2024
The Online Gambling Quarterly analysts asked industry experts to assess the current business situation and their expectations for the next 12 months. For the current edition, analysts gathered estimates and insights of 196 market insiders and experts, including many C-level executives. With regular updates, this survey and its results serve as an industry barometer for the overall online gambling industry climate.

Sixty percent of the surveyed experts and market insiders assess the current business climate of the online gambling industry as “satisfactory” or even “poor”. Of those surveyed, 40% of the experts consider the current climate as “good”. In the recent quarters, the OGQ analysts saw an up and down of the estimates regarding the current business climate with a slight downward trend. However, the 40% “good estimate” is one of the best scores measured in two years.

Future business climate
Regarding the future business climate (in the next 12 months), 49% of the experts surveyed believe that the industry climate will be “good”, an increase compared to the current “good” share of 40%.
Like the current business climate estimate, the evaluation of the future industry climate saw an up and down in recent quarters. As in the past years, the autumn surveys always seem more optimistic. Maybe this is due to the survey’s focus on the emerging growth regions of Latam and the US. This might impact the overall estimate of the business climate.
