Five mins with...Radosław Barański of STS Gaming Group
This month's quickfire Q&A comes courtesy of Radosław Barański, affiliate manager for STS Gaming Group

Q. What makes STS a great partner for affiliates?
We are a company, which emphasises long term partnership, trust and transparency. The affiliate team are available throughout the entire week via Skype, WhatsApp etc. We respect our partners’ time because time equals money, therefore STS responds dynamically to every occurring issue. We analyse the statistics and results with our partners and set further strategies together. If the situations require it, I can hop on the plane, train or bus to get to the other part of the world to conduct negotiations with potential clients, therefore STS is extremely flexible and gives every affiliate an individual approach.
Q. What do you enjoy most about your job?
I’ve always been a sports fan, it has helped me overcome boundaries and move forward in many situations. I am an OCR runner and working at STS gives me that adrenaline rush and a competitive feeling, where I realise that losing is not an option which leads to my personal development.
Q. If you could give one piece of advice to an aspiring affiliate manager, what would it be?
I would tell him/her to respect their partner’s money as their own and treat their job as their own business because this particular job is not a typical 8am to 4pm shift. The more you seed, the more you harvest.
Q. Who would play you in a movie about your life?
Jean-Claude Van Damme because I don’t think I have ever seen him shy away from a challenge.
Q. What’s your karaoke song of choice?
Queen – We are the Champions.

Q. Which is one thing that you can’t live without?
Running, I like to constantly exceed my limits.
Q. Who would you most like to be stuck in a lift with?
Pope John Paul II – I think that a short conversation with him could have changed my whole life. This is a person of high values and open-mindedness.

Q. Where would you time travel to and why?
November 1946, Toronto, Canada to see the first NBA game (at the time called the BAA). Basketball carries a lot of importance in my life and some of my best memories revolve around both watching and playing it.
Q. What is your favourite TV programme?
Breaking Bad.
Q. What is your biggest guilty pleasure?
Watching the Star Wars saga all the time and reliving it over and over again.

Q. If you won the lottery, what would you spend the money on?
A track and field sports club with a stadium.
Q. Name one place everyone should visit before they die.
Costa Rica – a country with parrots, monkeys and plenty of animals on beaches where you can drink a delicious coffee and eat fresh coconuts. It’s a paradise for surfers, the most peaceful place in the world.
