Slots Tracker: Pragmatic Play remains in top spot despite Play’n GO challenge
Starburst causes a storm in November but Pragmatic Play keeps its gold medal position and now boasts seven titles in the top 20 rankings

NetEnt’s Starburst shook up the EGR Slots Tracker in November as the title leapt into second place to disrupt Pragmatic Play’s dominance in the rankings.
While Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Bonanza remained in first place, Starburst moved from fourth to second last month.
In turn, Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Splash dropped one place to third and Play’n GO’s Book of Dead slipped from third to fourth.
The majority of the top 10 slots remained unchanged from October, although Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus 1,000 broke into the top half, rising from 13th place to 10th.
The studio’s strong month continued as Big Bass Halloween 2 was the title with the biggest jump in November, leaping from 73rd place to 17th.
Other big movers included Inspired Entertainment’s Golden Winner, which went from 46th to 15th, and Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza 1,000, moving up from 27th to 20th.
In total, Pragmatic Play boasts seven titles in the top 20 for November, including five in the top 10 alone.
In comparison, Play’n GO, Fortune Factory Studios and Gameburger Studios only have two titles apiece in the rankings.
However, Pragmatic Play’s Chilli Heat was the highest-ranking title from October (16th place) to fall out of the top 20 completely in November.
Elsewhere, eGaming Monitor (EGM) data revealed the top-ranking new slots released since 1 September 2024.
Pragmatic Play’s Big Bass Halloween 2 took the top spot in November following its 21 October release.
Stablemates Big Bass Vegas Double Down Deluxe (12 September release) and Wolf Gold Ultimate (12 November) took the silver and bronze medals, respectively, in the new games rankings.
Play’n GO’s Rich Wilde and the Pearls of Vishnu was the title with the latest release date (14 November) to make it into the top 20.
EGM, EGR’s data partner, tracks casino sites to help collate the monthly slots rankings. It analyses game pages of more than 3,600 casino sites globally, with the European rankings being based on the number of game tiles found for each game across operator sites in regulated markets.
EGM limits its tracking to just the main casino homepage of each site, with the tracker taking in slots, instants, scratch cards, slingo and crash games but excluding table games, live games, video poker, video bingo and others.
For the November rankings, EGM tracked 17,569 games from 435 studios in 30 European regulated markets including the UK, Italy, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.
