SkillOnNet named as new International Betting Integrity Association partner
Malta-based operator becomes latest to join forces with the IBIA in a bid to uphold the “highest standards of integrity in markets across the world”

SkillOnNet has announced its partnership with the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), as the operator looks to tackle gambling fraud and corruption.
Overseeing more than 40 brands across several regulated markets worldwide, SkillOnNet becomes the latest of 70 companies to become an IBIA partner, all of which aim to eradicate corruption in the sector.
SkillOnNet’s presence across Europe is strong, operating brands including PlayOJO, PlayUZU, German-language product DrueckGlueck and Portugal-facing BacanaPlay.
Last month, two SkillOnNet brands in PlayUZU.bet.br and BacanaPlay.bet.br launched in Brazil, days after the regulated market went live on 1 January.
With the market still in its infancy, both SkillOnNet and IBIA share the stance that it is crucial to “protect the integrity” of Brazil’s new regulatory framework.
Pedro Garcia, SkillOnNet’s Brazil country manager, talked up the importance of the partnership, especially in light of the operator’s expansion into the recently regulated market.
“We’re hugely bullish about the Brazilian market, but with any young market you must ensure safeguards are in place to protect players and operators,” Garcia said.
“The IBIA does an extremely important job of upholding the highest standards of integrity in markets across the world and it’s a privilege to be part of the organisation.”
Khalid Ali, IBIA CEO, welcomed SkillOnNet as a partner, adding: “IBIA is pleased to welcome SkillOnNet to our association of leading global gambling operators.
“The addition of SkillOnNet to IBIA further strengthens our position in Brazil, the Latam region and globally. The move highlights SkillOnNet’s commitment to protecting the integrity of its betting products, consumers and related sporting events by utilising the world’s leading operator-led monitoring and alert network.
“IBIA looks forward to working closely with SkillOnNet and to integrating the operator within our global sports betting integrity system.”
In October 2024, Brazil’s regulator, the Prizes and Betting Secretariat (SPA), partnered with four firms that specialise in integrity monitoring, including the IBIA, as well as Genius Sports, Sportradar and Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA).
All partnerships are set to last five years and will see the SPA supplied with information about the betting market movements.
Alongside a host of operator partnerships, the IBIA has also long worked closely and shared information with FIFA, UEFA, the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
