Sportradar VP of regulatory services steps down
Stanislav Čech leaves the New York-listed supplier after almost a decade-long spell across various roles

Sportradar’s vice-president of regulatory services, Stanislav Čech, has announced his departure from the company after nine years.
Čech first joined the supplier in April 2016 as a control and settlement manager in its managed trading services (MTS) division, a position he would hold until December 2018.
From there he moved to the role of director of operations for MTS from January 2019 to December 2020.
He then worked as director of operations for managed betting services (MBS) from January 2021 to October 2023, before moving up to his final role of vice-president of regulatory services.
Alongside his work at Sportradar, Čech has also served as an honorary consul of Czechia in Gibraltar since March 2016.
Alongside his roles at Sportradar, Čech worked as a director for advisory firm LudWin from November 2022 to December 2024.
He also spent time as a financial accountant at bwin from September 2012 until July 2014.
Writing on LinkedIn about his departure, Čech said: “After nearly nine incredible years at Sportradar, I am excited to announce that I am embarking on a new adventure.
“My time at Sportradar has been truly remarkable, filled with both challenges and opportunities that have helped shape me into the leader I am today.
“Starting my journey alongside Paolo Personeni (MBS managing director) and Michael Maerz (deputy CEO for APAC) in our Gibraltar office, contributing to the development of managed trading services, navigating the global pandemic and witnessing Sportradar’s transition from a private entity to a publicly listed company – each moment has been a valuable lesson in growth and development.
“Leaving Sportradar is bittersweet. As I embark on this new chapter, I will continue to support the Sportradar team from afar, cheering them on as they continue to thrive and progress.
“Thank you all for being part of this unforgettable journey,” he concluded.
