Rightlander acquires Mitigatr to strengthen international presence
Terms of the deal remain confidential as Rightlander CEO heralds the acquisition as as a “significant step” for affiliate marketing compliance firm

Rightlander has acquired affiliate compliance company Mitigatr in an undisclosed deal to bolster its footprint in international markets.
The deal is also expected to strengthen the firm’s capabilities in providing its compliance services to a wider range of operator clients.
While the terms of the transaction are confidential, Mitigatr’s executive director Astan Morarji noted on LinkedIn that the company had grown to a “seven-figure value”.
Rightlander, launched in 2018, is currently used by more than 300 brands across multiple markets to spot non-compliance across different markets and online advertising channels.
Mitigatr boasts several partners within the industry, including Gamesys, Rank Group, NetBet and Fitzdares.
Prior to it being acquired by Rightlander, the company’s efforts were primarily centred around the UK but, following the deal, the aforementioned clients will now have access to a wider range of international compliance solutions.
Mitigatr’s client base will also be able to integrate Rightlander’s compliance technology that allows operators an insight into traffic sources and social media channels, as well as risk assessments.
Rightlander CEO Sarafina Wolde Gabriel heralded the deal as a “significant step” in the company’s roadmap.
She said: “By bringing Mitigatr’s clients into the Rightlander ecosystem, we not only maintain the high level of service they have grown accustomed to but also introduce them to wider benefits to help protect and grow their affiliate programmes.
“Our solutions were designed to solve complex, international regulatory problems while providing smart actionable data insights to increase revenue efficiently.
“Rightlander’s international reach, combined with Mitigatr’s established relationships, creates a powerful synergy.
“Our platform is tailored to meet the diverse compliance requirements of gaming and affiliate marketing businesses across borders, ensuring compliance and peace of mind for our clients.”
Roo Wright, Mitigatr founder, reflected on the acquisition as he added: “It was important for me to find the right home for Mitigatr’s clients.
“Rightlander’s robust technology, international scope and industry expertise make them the perfect partner to continue delivering exceptional service. I am confident they will take this business to new heights.”
