Push Gaming appoints former Merkur executive as new COO
Andy Bentley joins the supplier’s C-suite as founder Winston Lee moves into co-CEO position

Push Gaming has appointed Andy Bentley as the company’s new chief operating officer (COO) after working with the supplier on various projects over the past six months as a consultant.
In his new role, Bentley will focus on marketing and project delivery as well as navigating any new opportunities for Push Gaming following its acquisition by MGM Resorts.
His appointment will also see company founder Winston Lee move to the position of co-CEO, which he will share with current incumbent James Marshall.
Bentley joins the firm having amassed an extensive career in the igaming industry.
He most recently spent four years as managing director of gaming consultancy House Edge Consulting from December 2019.
Prior to that, he spent three years at Gauselmann Group from October 2020, initially serving as a consultant before becoming COO for Merkur in June 2021.
Prior to a spell as CEO of BGO Group from March 2018 to December 2019, Bentley worked at Genting Casino in various roles from May 2008 to March 2018.
These included head of casino (May 2008 to October 2012), head of gaming (October 2012 to April 2016) and operations director for interactive (April 2016 to March 2018).
He also worked at Ladbrokes Coral Group in a variety of roles between September 2004 and March 2008.
Following Bentley’s appointment, Push Gaming founder Lee will continue to oversee the company’s legal, compliance, finance and live operations, while co-CEO Marshall will maintain oversight on games and product development, people and culture, and sales and account management.
Marshall said: “Andy has been working with us for the past six months on some of our strategic projects for the US and Brazil, so while he’s been a regular face for us here, we want to officially welcome him on board.
“He joins with brilliant experience from senior positions in B2C operations and I couldn’t think of anyone better to help drive us on to the next chapter of growth.
“As we move into the upcoming year, we have ambitious plans in place. With Andy joining our team, I am confident we will build our momentum, launching a range of new games in Q1 and further developing our global partnerships.”
Bentley commented: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time consulting with the incredible team at Push so far and I’m honoured to have been offered the opportunity to take on such an exciting permanent role.
“Push Gaming is a brand I have long admired and is a company with fantastic scope for future growth, so I’m thrilled to be a part of that mission.
“Exciting updates are currently being rolled out, and we have more big plans in store as we approach the end of the year and enter 2025.”
