Trustly appoints former Deliveroo exec as new group CFO
Adam Miller joins the Sweden-based payment firm as the latest addition to the company’s C-suite following dual hire earlier this year

Trustly has appointed former Deliveroo and Expedia head Adam Miller as the company’s new group CFO.
Miller joins the Stockholm-based payments company after a 20-year career during which he has held senior roles across various industries.
His most recent position was at food delivery firm Deliveroo where he served as CFO between July 2020 to September 2022.
During his time as Deliveroo CFO, Miller played a key role in the business’ IPO on the London Stock Exchange in March 2021 and helped drive growth during the pandemic.
Miller initially joined the food delivery company as vice-president of corporate strategy in February 2019, before stepping up to become CFO on an initial interim capacity from January to July 2020.
Prior to joining Deliveroo, Miller served as chief revenue officer at vehicle rental firm CarTrawler from November 2016 to August 2018.
The longest spell of Miller’s career came at Expedia Group, where he worked between October 2009 to October 2016.
First joining as a senior manager, he moved up to director of strategy and pricing in September 2011 before moving to senior director for analytics in November 2012.
He then transitioned to vice-president of strategy and analytics in March 2014, with his final role being vice-president of strategic partnerships from November 2015 to October 2016.
Speaking about his appointment at Trustly, Miller said: “I am thrilled to join the exceptional team at Trustly as we navigate the next stages of growth and expansion.
“I look forward to applying my experience to support the company’s journey and to contribute to Trustly’s ongoing success as the undisputed leader in open banking.”
Trustly CEO Johan Tjärnberg added: “Adam’s appointment is an exciting milestone for Trustly.
“His extensive experience in high-growth tech companies and leading businesses through crucial stages of development will be invaluable as we enter our next phase of growth.”
Miller becomes Trustly’s latest C-suite appointment following the February hires of Annika Poutiainen as chief legal officer and Georg Kaltenbrunner as chief risk and compliance officer.
