Angstrom Sports promotes ex-William Hill head to CTO
Adam Hope to lead US-facing sports pricing solution acquired by Entain last July, ahead of supplier’s deeper odds integration into BetMGM platform

Angstrom Sports has named Adam Hope as its newest CTO as Entain looks to continue improving BetMGM’s same game parlay product.
The US-facing sports pricing solution provider was bought by Entain last July in a deal worth up to £203m as part of its efforts to bolster its US-facing joint venture.
The London-based firm’s propriety prediction model is set to be integrated further into BetMGM’s platform in a bid to elevate its offering.
Angstrom-powered markets have gone live for the MLB already, with plans to expand the reach to both the NBA and NFL.
To that end, BetMGM reported that it saw a 209% year-on-year rise in home run bets placed during the first month of the MLB season.
Hope, who joined Entain in September 2023 as director of technology, will now shift over to the pricing specialists.
He arrived at the operator having spent five-and-a-half years as William Hill’s head of technology between February 2018 and August 2023.
His stint at the evoke brand came after roles with telecommunications firm EE and UK consumer choice magazine Which?.
Taking to LinkedIn, Hope said: “I’m very happy to announce that the amazing team at Angstrom Sports have asked me to be their new chief technology officer (CTO).
“A wonderful opportunity to lead the teams on the cutting edge of sports trading with some of the brightest and most talented people I’ve worked with.”
Speaking to EGR in May, BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said Angstrom Sports-powered markets will be able to assist in cementing the operator’s podium position.
