
Sky Vegas crowned brand of the year at the EGR M&I Awards
Operator snaps up top title in what was a hugely successful afternoon for Flutter as Sky Bet and Sky Bingo also take home awards


Sky Vegas was named brand of the year at the EGR Marketing & Innovation awards on 13 June, held at the Grade II-listed Roundhouse in Camden, London.
The operator edged out ComeOn Group and GG.BET, with those firms taking silver and bronze, respectively, for the ceremony’s most-coveted title.
Sky Vegas also snapped up the social marketing campaign while its stablemates took home an additional four titles.
Sky Bingo was recognised for the best CRM campaign and Sky Bet took the innovation in sports betting and innovation of the year gongs.
Sky Bet’s Super 6 got the nod for the sportsbook marketing campaign in a dominant showing from Flutter.
Elsewhere, Kaizen Gaming kept up its record of winning EGR accolades, this year taking home the best native app and responsible gambling marketing campaign.
Checkd Group was also at the double with wins, netting the affiliate marketing campaign and innovation in marketing campaign categories.
There were also wins for William Hill, BetMGM UK and Sportsbet.io among the 19 trophies handed out on the night.
The awards were decided by EGR’s expert panel of external judges and officiated by accountancy giant BDO.
This year’s ceremony was hosted by stand up comedian Jimmy McGhie.
