Seventeen-year industry veteran Ashley-Christian Hardy makes move to firm having spent time with GiG and PokerStars

Yolo Group has appointed industry veteran Ashley-Christian Hardy as its new chief product officer, following a two-year stay at Flutter International.
Hardy moves to the crypto-first operator after serving as head of product for change and portfolio having arrived in April 2022.
Flutter International encompasses brands including Sisal in Italy, Junglee Games in India and Adjarabet in Georgia.
Prior to his time with Flutter, Hardy spent nearly four years with Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) in two positions.
Joining in June 2018 as head of product – platform, he was part of the team that launched the firm’s in-house sportsbook in New Jersey as well as helping GiG enter the Spanish market.
He became director of product and design six months later, which included overseeing a brand refresh and several partnership launches.
Hardy first joined the igaming industry in June 2007 with bet365 as a fraud and risk management analyst, staying with the UK-based operator for two years and four months.
A move to Full Tilt Poker in September 2009 was followed by joining Betclic in November 2011.
Eventually departing the firm as a product manager in the payments division, Hardy moved to PokerStars as a new internal product manager in November 2015.
The new Yolo Group exec spent time in PokerStars’ regulation divisions across product, before leaving the group in June 2018.
Announcing his latest job change, Hardy took to LinkedIn to say he had learned a lot while with Flutter and looked forward to his future with Yolo Group.
He said: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as chief product officer at Yolo Group.
“After a great two years [at] Flutter International, I have been given the opportunity to join Yolo Group as CPO.
“I have learned a lot over the past two years, I have been exposed to many areas of the Flutter business, growing my knowledge and skills working in an organisation at massive scale.
“I leave the company thankful for the opportunities given and honestly do recommend it as a great place to work. Now I start my journey at Yolo Group, with more great people and super excited to see what we achieve together.”
In April, Yolo Group snapped up former Better Collective head Shane Anderson as its new director of organic, content and distribution.
