Kaizen Gaming launches new charitable organisation
The Kaizen Foundation aims to be a “catalyst for positive change” and will function in every market where the operator is present

Kaizen Gaming has announced the establishment of its own charitable organisation, the Kaizen Foundation, which will be funded exclusively by the operator.
The new foundation will function in every market that the operator’s brands, Betano and Stoiximan, are present in such as Czech Republic and Germany.
Panagiotis Konstantopoulos, VP of Stoiximan, is heading up the foundation as president, with Kaizen CFO Pavlos Kanellopoulos acting as the charity’s treasurer and David Magri as the charity’s secretary.
The charity aims to be a “catalyst for positive change” and its first project is the renovation of Penteli Children’s General Hospital in Athens.
The Kaizen Foundation has donated €3.8m to the hospital to date, with the money being used to refurbish its facilities, outdoor spaces and accessibility features.
The goal of this project is to address operational challenges and improve the lives of both patients and healthcare professionals.
Kaizen said the foundation’s next projects will be in Bulgaria, Malta and Romania.
In a post on LinkedIn, George Daskalakis, Kaizen Gaming founder and CEO, said: “Today is a special day for Kaizen Gaming as we are very happy and proud to announce the launch of the Kaizen Foundation along with its first activity.
“This is only the beginning for the Kaizen Foundation as we aim to build on our strong CSR activity during the past years in a more systematic and larger-scale character.
“With projects that will take place internationally, across the markets where Betano is present and actions focused on society, children and the environment.”
Daskalakis also took the opportunity to thank his staff for their commitment to the company.
He added: “I would like to thank all Kaizeners for making this possible. We have multiple reasons to be proud as a team: the trust of millions of customers in our services, and the multiple awards and recognitions we have received both as an operator and as an employer.”
