Allwyn names first-ever chief people and culture officer
Lottery giant promotes Casinos Austria HR head Naida Buljugic to lead on global strategy moving forwards

Allwyn has appointed Casinos Austria stalwart Naida Buljugic as its first-ever global chief people and culture officer.
Buljugic has spent the last five years heading up Allwyn’s Austrian division’s HR department for Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries, having joined the company in January 2018.
Prior to joining the lottery firm, Buljugic spent several years with the UniCredit Group across its Milan and Vienna offices.
The HR veteran also previously held a series of roles at The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) between 1998 and 2008.
Buljugic officially started in her new role on 1 September.
She is now responsible for establishing the lottery giant’s future people agenda, including leading on attracting and retaining talent, and developing a global culture programme.
Touching on her new position, Buljugic said: “I could not be more thrilled to be starting this new chapter with Allwyn and to leverage the experience I gained at Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries to further progress our global people strategy.
“I have seen Allwyn grow and attract the best talent within the lottery and gaming sector, and I look forward to supporting that talent to thrive and develop at this exciting stage in Allwyn’s journey.
Robert Chvátal, Allwyn CEO, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Naida into this new role within Allwyn, where she will be at the forefront of our growth and a positive partner for change across our markets.
“She has demonstrated terrific leadership during her time at Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries, and in her previous roles at UniCredit and OSCE.
“This experience, combined with her strong sense of Allwyn’s culture, meant that she was the obvious choice to lead our people and culture strategy, globally.”
