LiveScore announces £25,000 Life-changing Goals campaign
Firm will donate £25 to a leading mental health charity for every goal scored across 25 top leagues and at the amateur level between 2 and 3 September

LiveScore will donate £25 for every goal scored across 25 top football leagues in its Life-changing Goals campaign.
The event will take place during the weekend of 2-3 September and will also include goals scored at amateur level.
Among the league’s eligible are the top four divisions in English and Scottish leagues, the first and second divisions in Germany, Italy, Spain and Netherlands as well as the MLS and Saudi Arabia’s top league.
LiveScore’s announcement comes following the news earlier this month that the affiliate will hold multiple campaigns across the year to celebrate its 25th anniversary.
Life-changing Goals will be headed up by former Netherlands and Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who was crowned 1998-99 Premier League top-scorer 25 years ago, as its ambassador.
Up to £25,000 will be donated, with proceeds going to an unnamed leading mental health charity and Bloomsbury Football, a charity that uses football to change the lives of young people in London.
Ric Leask, LiveScore group marketing director, commented: “Over the last 25 years at LiveScore, we’ve strived to bring fans closer to the sport they love and enrich their experience through bringing them the goals as they happen.
“I’m really proud to now say that for every goal scored next weekend, we can bring the football community together to support leading charities, truly helping to change lives with every goal scored. It’s fantastic to have Jimmy on board, who scored many of the goals we updated our users with over the last 25 years.”

Hasselbaink called on players at the amateur level to record their goals and send them in, via LiveScore’s Instagram and TikTok using the hashtag #LiveScore25, to ensure a £25 donation.
He said: “Having been lucky enough to play and score in front of thousands of fans during my career, I know the power football has to change lives and bring people together.
“That’s why I’m delighted to join LiveScore for Life-changing Goals, to make a real difference to people with every goal that goes in. I’m looking forward to seeing the great goals shared from every level of the game.”
