Future Anthem doubles headcount as it opens East London hub
AI startup continues on expansion roadmap following Series A funding round last July

Future Anthem has praised a mass expansion of its workforce, with employee headcount doubling since its Series A funding round in July 2022.
The recent arrivals have arrived from several leading operators and suppliers including William Hill, Betway and Gaming Realms, with staff increasing from 21 to 43.
The firm hired Jessica Wu in March, formerly Betway’s marketing chief as its new head of marketing alongside Matt Nichols as GM of Americas, Laura Bird as CFO and Ian Tibot as chief product officer.
Two-thirds of the AI startup’s workforce is now comprised of data science experts and the makeup of the employees consists of 16 nationalities and a female to male ratio of 40% to 60%.
Emma Ferguson, head of people at Future Anthem, said the AI firm is “well-positioned” to develop products for clients that can lead to change in the industry.
Ferguson said: “We are proud to have assembled a team of experts who not only possess exceptional technical abilities but also deep insights into the specific dynamics of the sports betting and gaming industry.
“By harnessing the knowledge and expertise of our diverse workforce, we are well-positioned to develop AI products that address the evolving needs of our clients and drive transformative change within the industry.”
The company raised a seven-figure investment last year to fund research and development as well as focus on expansion in North America.
While looking to open a US-based headquarters with the funding, Future Anthem has opened a tech hub in Shoreditch, East London.
