888’s head of B2C departs after nine years with operator
Shai Tabibian rose through the ranks in a number of roles after rejoining 888 in 2014 for his second spell with the operator

888’s head of B2C, Shai Tabibian, has announced his departure from the UK-headquartered company after nine years.
Tabibian initially joined in 2008 as product team leader before leaving in 2011 and rejoining the company in August 2014 as head of poker affiliates and regional marketing. The Israeli was promoted in December 2015 to poker marketing director.
In August 2017, he was appointed online acquisition marketing director and, two years later, became VP of growth marketing.
Then, in August 2021, Tabibian was made SVP and head of 888’s B2C division – a role he held until June 2023.
Posting on LinkedIn about his departure, Tabibian said: “After an incredible nine-year journey filled with growth, achievements, learning and unforgettable memories, the time has come for me to leave 888holdings.
“It has been my second ride in the world of 888, during which I had the privilege to lead 888poker marketing, the super talented 888 growth department and, finally, the unforgettable 888 B2C division.
“I want to thank the entire 888 family for the laughter, collaboration and shared moments of triumph (we had many of those). It has been an honour to work alongside such talented and dedicated individuals, and I feel incredibly lucky to share this journey with all of you.”
In June, Tabibian was made advisory board member for AI-powered tender intelligence firm B4P Research.
888 is yet to announce a 888 to replace Itai Pazner who abruptly left the London-listed operator in January after an internal compliance investigation found AML and KYC failings with VIP players in the Middle East.
CFO Yariv Dafna had been due to depart 888 at the end of March but will now remain in his role on a temporary basis until the end of the year.
