Khadeem, who won the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes priced at 80/1, resulted in £2m blow for Flutter.
Valiant Force’s (150/1) victory in the Norfolk Stakes matched the biggest starting price return at Royal Ascot as well as the biggest return in a British or Irish Group race.
Dockland’s win in the Britannia Stakes race saw several UK charities, including SportsAid, the Holocaust Educational Trust, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, SAS Regimental Association and Together for Looked-after Children (TLC) receive a share of? £277,000. Any details on the amount?
The donation included all profits from single and each-way bets placed online and in Paddy Power shops, as well as coming from Flutter’s UK&I brands and other Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) members.
Ian Brown, Flutter UK&I CEO, said: “We are incredibly proud to support the BGC’s great initiative and to make sure that charity is the real winner from the Britannia Stakes. Royal Ascot is such an important fixture in Britain’s sporting calendar, and we hope this donation can make a tangible difference for the charities involved.”
