
Kaizen Gaming named brand of the year at EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards 2023
Greek firm took home the headline award as Buzz Group secured a hat-trick at London’s iconic Roundhouse

Kaizen Gaming was named brand of the year at this year’s EGR Marketing & Innovation (M&I) Awards, which took place on 8 June under the afternoon sunshine in north London.
Kaizen Gaming claimed the title after a successful year, which saw its Betano brand land multiple sponsorship deals as well as being named the regional supporter for Europe at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
PlayOJO and Yolo Group secured the silver and bronze positions for the award, respectively.
Kaizen Gaming also picked up the award for affiliate marketing campaign, which it will add to its growing list of EGR accolades.
Kaizen Gaming was named operator of the year at the EGR Operator Awards 2022.
Buzz Group was the only three-time award winner on the day, netting a hat-trick haul of gongs.
The firm picked up innovation of the year, marketer of the year and social marketing campaign of the year awards in front of a crowd of esteemed industry peers.
The rest of the awards were spread out among a number of companies, with OPAP the only firm to take home two awards with the gongs for Innovation in Casino and Innovation in Responsible Gambling.
Betsson took home the award for best native app while also taking bronze place in the casino marketing campaign category.
GAMING1 brand Circus won best use of a brand ambassador, while Novibet took the award for innovation in sports betting.
The EGR Marketing & Innovation Awards celebrates the most innovative and creative operators, affiliates and suppliers in online gaming by recognising those companies which have pushed themselves to bring something new to the industry over the last 12 months.
This year’s awards were held at the Grade II-listed Roundhouse in Chalk Farm and hosted by stand-up comedian and presenter Keith Farnan.
